Focus Mind — Data Collection & Usage Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to Focus Mind, part of the 18.3 Tactical Suite. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our service. By accessing or using Focus Mind, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Free vs. Ad-Free Tiers

Focus Mind operates two tiers:

Free tier: Supported by audio advertisements served by Google. The Google AdSense script loads on all pages to manage consent and ad delivery. Audio ads may play after 5 minutes of continuous use.
Ad-Free tier (paid): No advertisements are served. The Google consent script still loads as required by Google's terms, but no ad content is delivered to your session.

3. Data Collection

Focus Mind collects the following data:

Account Identity: Your name and email address, managed securely through Clerk authentication.
Purchase Information: Order ID and purchase date from Polar.sh payment processor.
Advertising & Consent Data (free tier): Google AdSense may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage signals to manage consent and serve contextually appropriate audio advertisements, subject to your consent choices.

4. Purpose of Data Collection

The data we collect is used for:

Service delivery: Enabling Ad-Free access on your account across all devices
Customer support: Assisting with technical issues or billing inquiries
Ad delivery and consent management: Google AdSense processes data to determine consent status and serve audio ads to free-tier users

5. Data Controller

18.3 is the data controller for all information collected through Focus Mind.

6. Your Rights (GDPR Compliance)

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right to Access: Request a copy of your data
Right to Rectification: Correct inaccurate information
Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your data
Right to Portability: Receive your data in a structured format

7. Data Deletion

⚠️ Important Warning

Requesting data deletion will permanently remove your Ads-Free license from our systems. This action cannot be undone and no refund will be provided.

If you delete your data, you will need to purchase a new Ads-Free license to regain access.

8. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using:

Clerk: Secure, SOC 2-compliant authentication and identity management
Cloudflare KV: Encrypted key-value storage for license data
TLS/SSL encryption for all data transmission

9. Third-Party Services

Focus Mind uses the following third-party services:

Google AdSense: Consent management and audio ad delivery for free-tier users. Google may collect data as described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Clerk: Authentication and user account management (governed by their privacy policy)
Polar.sh: Payment processing (governed by their privacy policy)
Cloudflare: Infrastructure and data storage

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email to Ads-Free users.
